Ryan and his team did an outstanding job installing 2 new circuits in our basement and underground electric cable installation to our backyard gazebo, including a new fan/light and outlet for additional devices. Ryan and his team were friendly, efficient and did a great job of cleaning up after completing their work both inside and outside. They were also very careful not to disturb our new plants and as a result all have survived. It is really hard these days to find contractors who are thoughtful and who follow through on cleaning up after completing their work; Ryan is the exception. We also had an issue with an existing GFI/AFI that started acting up after the job was completed and Ryan returned immediately after I called him to deal with the issue, repairing both the faulty GFI and adding 2 new GFIs, thus resolving our issues, all at no additional cost. Ryan is a thoughtful professional and we will definitely be hiring him for any future electrical needs. Ryan is now our go-to electrician and we recommend him highly to anyone requiring a professional electrician.

I had Ryan complete the new installation of pot lights in my kitchen today and he ensured that the placement was perfect. The work was done quickly and looks great. Once these were completed I also asked him to change out the existing pot lights in my living room and now have the complete and consistent look throughout. Over the 2022 Christmas break, I had Ryan (Wilson Electric Installations Inc) in to re-wire a few outlets/switches that weren't working properly. Upon initially speaking with Ryan on the phone and explaining the work required, he stated that he could fix the problem. Ryan advised in advance the charges that would be incurred. We scheduled an appointment for the following morning. He showed up right on time and promptly got to work. After a few minutes of explaining what was needed, Ryan set about diagnosing and performing all work that was required. All work was done in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. Moreover, Ryan was a delight to deal and speak with. He took his time to explain what he needed to do. He was thoughtful and thorough in answering any and all questions I had. I was very comfortable and certain that I had made the right choice in calling Wilson Electric. All work was performed and finished to my complete satisfaction. I Installed some switches and outlets in my kitchen. When I tried engaging the kitchen breakers, the breaker for the whole house tripped and I couldn't get them back on. This was a Saturday at 3pm. Called two electrical companies one said that they had no one available and the other I received no response. I called Ryan, he was at my home within an hour. Took a look at what I'd done and solved the problem within minutes. He showed me what I did wrong, fixed the issue and told me what to do in the future. He's an excellent teacher by the way. Ryan is patient, knowledgeable and a great guy. I was fortunate to find him and I appreciate all that he did for me. He was well worth the cost which wasn't too bad considering this was a weekend and last minute.

He was quick to respond to my FB Message and called the next day to explain everything in full including some possible troubleshooting ideas. I also explained a bit of a dilemma I was in with my bathroom renos and the heated towel warmers I needed installed in short order! Ryan was prompt in his arrival to fix my lights and took the time to make logical and thorough suggestions for the reno. Despite the extremely short turn around for him to do the needful, he managed to squeeze me in so the contractors could continue their work. I just moved in not long ago and found out my panel had some small safety issues. On top of being 100w, and maxed out, it seemed like a good idea to do a swap and upgrade, little did I know how much work that actually involved.Ryan was quick to respond and even took my call in the middle of the evening way past normal operating hours, took time to get to know the full scope of the job, as well as all the other things I was interested in doing. Gave me a nicely itemized estimate with all the costs so I could pick what I wanted to get done and helped me to prioritize what was important to work with my budget.He was very professional and came bright and early in the morning and worked all day without rest to get my panel swapped in the same day so I wouldn't be left in the cold over night. Did a great job with cable management and clean up, and overall delivered a quality service in a very short timeframe. He even put up with my terrible puns, which is no easy task. The most difficult part for me was e-transferring the payment over for a job well done.

Ryan came by our House on the following Monday after we called on Saturday. We originally agreed on Monday afternoon but Ryan called Monday morning to say an opening was available in the morning so we accepted the offer to arrive earlier.What we really appreciated was on Saturday how he took the time to educate and help us on the phone so we could at least mitigate the issue until he showed up two days later.We had a reverse polarity issue in 2 (at the time unidentified) outlets which were in 1 of the 4 basement rooms. When those two outlets were in use a fish smell emanated from the room suggesting a risk of combustibility and maybe fire.To be fair, our home inspector identified the reverse polarity issues in our home inspection in Dec 2019, but 2020 was nothing but plumbing issues for us so the polarity issue got ignored until now.Ryan identified which outlets needed to be re-configured after testing and fixed them and also explained how to avoid a similar reoccurrence going forward. He also got rid of an outdoor sensor light that was not functional with a previously incorrectly installed cord and capped it off so that it was safe. Another to-do job on our home inspection list completed.Afterwards the price that Ryan submitted was more than fair to us.It's good to have someone you know for issues like these and we feel if future electrical issues happen, we have someone to call.thanks Ryan.
